Da' Bears
What a great game to go to. The first game I've ever seen at Ford Field turned out to be an overtime game with the Bears winning by returning an interception for a touchdown to end the game. How awesome is that?

Is this a surprise to people?
Is this really a shock to people? Isn't everyone in the WNBA pretty much a lesbo (or at least a man-hater)?
NEW YORK (AP) -- Houston Comets forward Sheryl Swoopes is opening up about being a lesbian, telling a magazine that she's "tired of having to hide my feelings about the person I care about."
I'm almost shocked.

Moving
Is it just me, or is moving a huge pain? I guess thats what movers are for, but they aren't necessarily worth the cost either, depending on the magnitude of the move. When moving means bringing someone closer to you, it makes the hard work and pain in the butt stuff very worth it. Plus I'm too cheap for movers ;-) Thats what parents and friends are for.

Corporate Bureaucracy
What is with the older people in some companies (one in particular)? Everyone likes to sit around and bitch about the problems with the company, why things are the way they are. Nobody has the juevos to actually stand up and say, "This is the problems, this is what we need to do". I'm talking about the managers and even corporate officers. People need to start presenting a solution to the problems they find. It does no good to say "I don't like this". You need to say "I don't like this, here is why, and this is what I think we need to do about it." Thats a start, but then its a matter of convincing people that there is a problem and there needs to be a solution. Big companies are so far into the corporate bs that they don't even realize their own problems. Bahhh.

Dealers
I hate dealerships. No matter what kind of deal you think you're getting, they try to nickel & dime you to death with crap you don't want/need, or over charge for what you do want. They tried to charge me $430 for a drop in bedliner that costs $150? You can get a damn spray-in liner for that price. $650 for step bars that I can get done for $400 elsewhere? Do they think I was born yesterday? What a bunch of bung holes.

Kid Crazy
In the next month or so I'm finally going to be an Uncle, and then once again in January. Exciting times for me, I love little kids. Apparently these people love kids a lot more though.
These people have 16 kids and they are only 40! They want more? Are they crazy? Another interesting tidbit, is every kids name starts with the letter "J". Its an interesting article though, check it out.

Traffic
Its been 7 months and I can't take it any more. Construction up here sucks. Last night it took me 50 minutes to get home from work, on what used to be a 30 minute drive. Twenty minutes may not seem like much to a lot of people, but imagine spending an extra 15-20 minutes in your car 5 days a week for 7 months when all you want to do is get home from work. Thats roughly the equivelant of an extra full day spent in your car because Michigan is retarded and closes every major road down at once so everybody is forced down surface streets that are under construction and down to 1 lane.

Fall
Well it must be fall out. After freezing in class last night and having to turn the heat on in my truck on the way home, I broke down and wore a coat today. Its not THAT cold yet, but now that its October it will be soon.

Living for the future?
What do yo do when where you want to go in life conflicts with what you want to do right now? Its hard to enjoy life sometimes when you seem to always be planning and working for the future instead of enjoying the present. Its always "when this is done, I'll be able to relax more". Which may be true for a bit, but then something else comes along that starts the cycle over again. You'd think in this day in age with all the technology that is making our lives "easier", we'd have tons more time to do what we want. I feel like I have less. People spend too much time at work (and school) and not enough time with things that matter like family and friends. I don't want to be one of those people, but am forced to right now, as most people are. I guess what helps get through is the short spurts between new distractions where we actually do have more time to relax.

Done Yet?
Its been construction season for 7 months now. Thats over half a year for you people who are not good at math. That means for over half of the last year, I've been spending extra time commuting to and from work EVERYDAY due to construction. Most of the projects are scheduled to be finished by mid-November. The only problem is, then the snow starts and I'll wish it was just construction. Is this crap ever gonig to end?

Rare Weekend
Weekends this good don't come around too often. Once in a lifetime for a lot of people (myself included I hope). It's finally official. Saturday I got engaged! Its been hard waiting so long to actually do it, but I think the timing worked out about perfect (other than Purdue losing). Nothing personal if I haven't called to tell you yet, things have been busy with school, traveling, etc. Now I feel old, but too young to be married because married people are really old.
