TVersity
Every once in a while, I run across a piece of software that is so useful, I wonder how I never knew about it before. The other day, I found TVersity. I've had a wireless home media server for over a year now, and have never really used it THAT much, because the software it came with to serve up media was terrible, and Windows Media Player was even worse. TVersity solves this problem.
It is a simple, free, yet powerful media portal that can give access to whatever photos, videos, or music you want anywhere. You can even subscribe to photo RSS feeds and podcasts and view them over it.
The best part for me, is that it is actually a fast and reliable means of getting music to my media server, so I can actually listen to my music on my home stereo, and view my digital pictures on my tv easily.
If you are looking for a way to share music in other places (even across the Internet), check it out.
