Good Friends

You can't put a price on good friends. Today, 5 of my best friends each took about a 5 hour round-trip just to help my wife and I pack up our apartment. Buying dinner is a small price to pay for the help I received today, thanks to all of my friends who came up and helped out. You're the best.

Time Flies

So here we are, over two weeks since I last said anything here. Two weeks into my new job. 1 year from my wedding day, nearly a week since we found ourselves a house, and a week until we have to be out of this place. Lots of stuff happening right now, but it is all for the better, and is all going well (so far). Soon enough I'll be able to relax in my house at night instead of driving 60 miles to my brother-in-laws to sleep on an air mattress with a 2 year old and 6 week old screaming. Not that I am ungrateful for them giving me a place to stay, I am just looking forward to being out of their hair and sleeping at my own place. Only a few more weeks...

Here already...

It's official. Today was my last day at my current job. It's kind of a sad thing, leaving the place that I've been for almost 4 and a half years. I guess now I'm unemployed until Monday.
