Huge Pig
Is it just me, or does this thing not look real? According to Yahoo,
the hog weighed a staggering 1,051 pounds and measured 9-feet-4 from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail.
I think its fake. If its not, thats a lot of meat.

Memorial Day
Well Memorial Day weekend is over already. The official start of summer is here, and our first holiday weekend of the season gone. I guess going to work isn't so bad though, things could be worse. At least it stays light enough now to see the light on the way into work and the way home.

Eye Opener
Sometimes it's just too easy to take what we have for granted. I complain about work, and there's people who can't find a job. I complain about grad school, and there's people who never even have the opportunity to go to college. When we're young, we complain about our parents, and some people don't have those either.
I guess it takes seeing things from a different perspective to really appreciate what you have. It never seems to last long, however. The next day it's usually back to complaining about things other people wish they had to complain about.
I don't even know how to finish this thought, so I'll just stop here for now...

No Gas Today
Apparently, May 15 is "Don't buy gas today" day. I don't know if it would actually help gas prices if enough people participated, but I don't need gas anyway so I guess I'll contribute.
Just look here if you haven't heard anything about this.

Giraffe vs. Drunk People
Ever wonder what it would be like to be in a cage with a giraffe? Neither have I, but apparently some people have.
VILNIUS, Lithuania - Climbing into a giraffe's cage at the local zoo seemed a good idea after a few drinks. But the prank went wrong when the 1.3 ton animal flew into a rage and attacked the three student trespassers at a zoo in Lithuania on Monday night.Ruta Greiciute, a 22-year-old student at Kaunas Technology University, was hospitalized with a broken collar bone and nose after the nine-year-old male giraffe, named Solut, attacked her.

Indiana University
Once again proving that I.U. is not the smartest school in Indiana.
INDIANAPOLIS - A cheating scandal rocks Indiana University's School Of Dentistry. The school says 46 out of the 95 second year students were involved. The school's dean says nearly half of the dental school's class of 2009 was involved in the cheating scandal.

Again...
Well crap. Today is officially the end of my short break, and the start of my Summer semester. It's comforting to know that assuming all goes well, it will be my last. However, I'm really starting to hate school sometimes and wish I didn't have to think about it. 16 weeks to go...
